A standard feature of the MSEDGE 3 is the inclusion of the EDGE management system EMS controlling the 2x EC Fans the environmental of the cabinet with up to 4 temperature and humidity reporting and alarming if over threshold is reached
Additionnal contact sensors to notify of door access. Displayed on an easy to view Webui with the SNMP trap send, V1, 2 and 3 available to end out the data and alarms
Whilst it is the EMS which takes care of the energy efficient cooling, it is also the EMS which brings together the whole solution. Alarms and alerts in real time will notify you of any issues with your cabinet. The LCD screen on the cabinet will also show an alarm status, touch will provide sensor data, fan status and contact sensor triggers.
Cable entry points – 6 locations.
The MSEDGE-3 is supplied with 6 gland plates, 3 in the top and 3 in the base. Each of theses plates can be removed and replaced with a foam block fit for cable entry purposes. One cable entry foam block kit is supplied as standard and you can purchase up to 5 additional kits.
The diagram below shows the positioning of the top and bottom gland plates. Cable entry point dimensions are 330×75 mm and each activated cable entry point accommodates up to 120 CAT5/6 cables or equivalent
